Note to Self: I am going to make you so proud!
Self-love and self-acceptance are at the foundation of having a good relationship with others. Having a good relationship with yourself sets the tone for every other relationship in your life. Self-love is not a destination, but a practice we institute in our life. This can be very difficult. But, at the end of the day; the more you practice self-love, the stronger message you send to yourself that you deserve it. This is a journey that takes dedication and practice. It is not vain or selfish to love yourself or make your happiness a priority.
86,400 Seconds Each Day
“Each day comes bearing its own gifts; untie the ribbons” (Ruth Ann Schabaker).
How are you planning to start your day today? Are you looking at today as an opportunity to make a change in your own life or someone else’s life? Is today a chance to find something new, wonderful and meaningful just around the corner? Will you find an endless array of “gifts” just waiting to be opened?
Start Each Day with a Grateful Heart
“We are most alive when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.” (Thornton Wilder)
Are you conscious of all the treasures in your life? Are you aware of all the good that happens to you daily? Have you made a commitment to focus on the good stuff? As each second passes, your life is unfolding. Life is a kaleidoscope; a combination of highs, lows, and in-betweens
